Public bug reported:

The Term::Prompt module uses an internal subroutine named termwrap to
try and intelligently wrap the prompts based on the size of the
terminal.

The problem is that it has a typo on line 511 $Text::Wrap::Columns =
$width; should actually be $Text::Wrap::columns = $width;

Without this small change Text::Wrap never gets fed the real number of columns
of the current terminal and all of the prompts
wrap early and look rather ugly depending on how large you set your terminal
size.

I have also filed a bug in CPAN at
https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=102472
