Hi Niklas, I am trying to do the same thing and running into the same problems with my Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS machine. Neither building from source for PDL- Stats 0.6.3 nor 0.6.5 works.
How do you use dpkg-buildpackage to create a .deb from the source directory?
