Public bug reported: https://objectstorage.prodstack4-5.canonical.com/v1/AUTH_77e2ada1e7a84929a74ba3b87153c0ac /autopkgtest-zesty/zesty/amd64/libe/libembperl- perl/20170124_211909_8effb@/log.gz
This actually appears to be a Debian regression between: https://ci.debian.net/data/packages/unstable/amd64/libe/libembperl- perl/20161203_210601.autopkgtest.log.gz and https://ci.debian.net/data/packages/unstable/amd64/libe/libembperl- perl/20161204_055831.autopkgtest.log.gz The only package change is in pkg-perl-autopkgtest (src: pkg-perl-tests) 0.33 to 0.34 and it turns out that update changed the behavior of the perl autopkgtests to run with PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1. This in turn leads to output from the tests due to DynaLoader functional redefinition. That same pkg-perl-autopkgtest, though, added a whitelist functionality for when tests will emit expected output. I believe in this case, the redefinition warnings are expected. ** Affects: libembperl-perl (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Fix Committed ** Changed in: libembperl-perl (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Committed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Debian Perl Group, which is subscribed to libembperl-perl in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1667121 Title: Updated perl in zesty-proposed regresses libembperl-perl autopkgtest To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libembperl-perl/+bug/1667121/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~pkg-perl-maintainers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~pkg-perl-maintainers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
