Well, if shutter is GTK2, why won't Ubuntu provide the GTK2 version of
libgoocanvas2-perl via the repository, so that this feature will work?
Can both versions not coexist on the seem version of Ubuntu?

I understand that the package has not had active development, but
perhaps it doesn't need it; it worked perfectly without any errors (so
there's no further development necessary as far as I can tell).
