I understand that Shutter is abandoned software, but there is no serious alternative either for quickly and efficiently edit an image and add arrows and annotations. A loss for Ubuntu and Debian. I have no solution to propose except for having it encapsulated in a snap, as others have suggested. Is there any foundation such as the Gnome Foundation ready to give some love for that tool?
