Hey everyone, Just catching up on some (long) overdue work on openjpeg. I've committed a bunch of small changes that now include the mj2 (motion jpeg2000) tools as well in the openjpeg-tools package. And fixed a few lintian warnings. I still want to get some other work done and check the standards version is upto date (before bumping to the new version in control). So there may be some other commits to come.
I was hoping to tackle bug #510443 at the same time, but that is a problem. We have removed pretty much all the openjpeg java sources from the code as part of the dfsg free process. This was documented in debian/copyright, so unless we do a non-free package for the java I believe this may be a "will not fix". I guess the code could be moved to a separate (non dfsg) source that only contained the java code (but had libopenjpeg2 as a dependency). Any ideas on how to handle this situation?
