Hi,

If hugin fills up the disk when writing the output files, it
reproducibly crashes with a segfault. Since hugin does not provide a
-dbg package and I'm currently short of time to generate one myself, I
cannot provide a backtrace or any other additional useful information.
You should be able to easily reproduce it by writing to a small (e.g.
loop-back mounted) device though.

Cheers,
Sebastian

Hello,

I have finally taken the (small) effort to try to reproduce this. Current
hugin (available in experimental) does not crash.

The stitch fails of course, and shows an error message like this one:

------------------------------------
nona -z PACKBITS -r ldr -m TIFF_m -o p1000717-p1000722 -i 1

make: *** [p1000717-p10007220001.tif] Error 1
------------------------------------

The error message could probably be a little bit nicer, but that is
different kind of bug than crash&data-loss. Which is why I am closing
this one.

There is already an upstream report about handling the error in a more
user friendly / obvious way.
