Package: rawstudio
Version: 2.0-1
Severity: important

PEF files from my pentax K100D DSLR are opened with default color settings
(Color temp - 5000, Tint - 0). Therefore, I see any wrong colors (too more
violet or green or something other, depending on selected color profile) on the
large copy of the photo (in the view area), but still see correct colors on the
thumbnail of the same photo. Moreover, when I opened other raw file (nef from
Nikon D80 in this case), correct camera white balance was set. So, it seems
that rawstudio can read that color information from RAW file, but, in the
PEF-file case, it cannot be applied due to some reason.

Also, pressing C or Camera White Balance menu item doesn't do anything for PEF
files (for NEF it sets correct camera white balance). To assure that my PEF
file is correct, I tried to open it via other RAW converter programs - UFRaw
0.18 (as far as I know, it uses dcraw too) and Rawtherapee 3.0. The same PEF
file was opened successfully with correct camera white balance in both those
converters.

In such situation, it's really hard to process photos, because I have to adjust
colors manually and spend a lot of time for this routine work. Currently, I
have to use another converter due to this problem. So, if it's possible, I'd
like to see this issue fixed as soon as possible. If needed, I'll try to
provide additional information.

Regards,
Dmitry.
