I initially installed this machine on testing 2005 and run testing
for a long time. Finally it ran Squeeze until a few weeks ago, where I
dist-upgraded to wheezy, removed lots of packages, and dist-upgraded
to testing. Atm I cannot reproduce the exact version history, as this
machine has been retired for a while (as my main machine).

No, all data bases have been imported on my main machine happily
running wheezy.
