Source: postgresql-common Version: 165 Severity: wishlist After successfully upgrading a lxc container from wheezy to jessie, upgrading my PostgreSQL cluster fails like it was reported on the upstream mailing list:
http://www.postgresql.org/message-id/CAOtHd0A5KQHL5Zv9V0c9i98i7otuwOhk=pm3grxuugh4tr3...@mail.gmail.com The thread that follows contains patches to solve that, but they were not applied upstream yet, and currently one cannot upgrade a PostgreSQL cluster on a lxc container because of that. It would be nice to either get those patches applied upstream and in Debian, or at least to have some documented workaround. In the case we get the patches applied, it would also be awesome if they could be included in a stable update for jessie. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.3.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=pt_BR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=pt_BR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) -- Antonio Terceiro <[email protected]>
