Package: postgresql-common
Version: 165+deb8u2
Severity: normal
File: /lib/systemd/system-generators/postgresql-generator

Dear Maintainer,

I tried to override the `[email protected]` by copying it from
`/lib/systemd/system/` to `/etc/systemd/system` but the generator script
uses the package's unit file as an hardcoded value.

```
11 pgservice="/lib/systemd/system/[email protected]"
```

Creating an `override.conf` in
`/etc/systemd/system/[email protected]` should work but does not
allow to fully override the unit configuration.

This is also present in the latest version of postgresql-common (179):
<https://packages.debian.org/sid/postgresql-common>.

Hi,

I don't think I can do much about this, all the other generators on my
system create the same symlinks: openvpn-generator,
postfix-instance-generator, selinux-autorelabel-generator.sh,
tor-generator.

I'll close the bug for now, but if you have suggestions for a fix, I'm
all ears.

Thanks for the report,
Christoph
