If the goal is to sigterm all daemons that are expected to save state successfully in the 3 seconds (or is it 5 seconds) before the eventual sigkill, then I reckon it’s not a problem to do this for pulseaudio, even though it does potentially save state. I can’t imagine it ever taking that long anyway.
