Package: pulseaudio Version: 0.9.19-1 Severity: normal I'm getting lots of noise over my music when only one app is playing sound. Starting another player shuts that noise down and the sound becomes clear again, even if that other player is muted in the PA per-application mixer. The sound stays clear even with more than two apps running.
There also seems to be one "magic" value for the volume where I get clear sound even with only one application. Found by trial and error. The apps I used for testing were XMMS2, totem and Xine. rol...@mirexpress ~ $ lspci | grep -i audio 00:11.5 Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies, Inc.
