There are no Headphones or Speakers controls at all.  The tabs in KMix are:

* Playback Devices
* Capture Devices 2
* Playback Streams 3
* Capture Streams 4

In Playback Devices, the only two are:

* Built-in Audio Digital Stereo (HDMI)
* Built-in Audio Analog Stereo

No speakers or headphones controls here.

The KDE Audio and Video Settings still show PulseAudio Sound Server as the Playback Device in the "Playback Device Preference" lists.
