Hello :)
I think this is the right email but i could be wrong.
I am looking into compiling newer version of python for old debian we are still
maintaining, and i got stuck with the sys.path

i couldn't find any compilation argument that would add additional path to the
sys.path, and obviously the location specific to debian aren't there by
default. (/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages)
I've read about adding them through env var at runtime (PYTHONPATH if i
remember right) but i wanted to make thing properly.

I've look at https://salsa.debian.org/python-debian-team/python-debian, which i
believe is the repo for the packaging of python in debian, but didn't find what
i was looking for.

I am very new to packaging in Debian so i hope i'm not completely off track.

Would you have any info for me ? Thank you for taking time to read through this
:)
