sounds reasonable. I have a suspicion that some of python-debian's handling of InRelease is still incorrect. I need to find the time to look back over my previous investigations to figure out if this is indeed the case and then how to properly handle the signatures. The number of different entry points for parsing a deb822 file also made that work difficult. I'd regard this as important to have in jessie but it shouldn't block an earlier upload if there's other things that are ready to go now. Uploads are cheap. I also started work on a class to represent removals.822 -- I'd like to rework that to look more like the copyright class and less like the Packages etc class that we have. I don't know that I'll get there by Nov 5 and it's only "nice to have" anyway. cheers Stuart -- Stuart Prescott http://www.nanonanonano.net/ [email protected] Debian Developer http://www.debian.org/ [email protected] GPG fingerprint 90E2 D2C1 AD14 6A1B 7EBB 891D BBC1 7EBB 1396 F2F7 -- http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-python-debian-maint
