Anyone object my migrating the project to salsa.debian.org? I've created https://salsa.debian.org/python-debian-team and tried to migrate most of the members of the pkg-python-debian team in Alioth. (I missed James Westby and Wouter van Heyst, who did not seem to have accounts on Salsa yet.)
Next steps are:
1. Create the python-debian project under that group and import the
existing Git repository there.
2. Update the VCS in the control file and upload.
3. Archive the Alioth repository by adding a pre-commit hook to reject
changes [1].
4. Set up notifications on Salsa for commits.
5. Migrate the mailing list...somewhere. I think we can probably
justify a lists.debian.org list, but alternatively there is [2].
I will probably do step 1 tonight, and try to do steps 2 and 3 in a few
days (after a final sync in case there are more commits), unless there
are objections. The mailing list stuff will probably require a bit more
effort, but I can commit to doing that legwork soonish.
