Dear Maintainer,
In versions 14.10.5 and 15.0.4 I experienced an annoying issue when
updating the assignee or labels of issues and merge requests: After
doing the change, an error message pops up, however, the change
actually worked but becomes only visible after I reload the page. A
similar thing happened when I tried to move issues on the board:
A message indicating that moving the issue failed pops up and the
issue jumps back. After I reload the page, the issue is in its new
column.
The issue is already reported upstream [1]. A gitlab engineer actually
replied with a link to an Action Cable issue on Github where somebody
proposed a workaround [2].
So, I simply created an empty file at /etc/gitlab/cable.yml, and this
actually solved the problems mentioned above.
Maybe this could be automated during the package installation?
