Package: redmine
Version: 1.0.1-1
Severity: wishlist

We're running redmine in a multi-user environment, where multiple web
applications are deployed, so running it as "www-data" is not acceptable.

The way we're doing this is by fixing the permission on the config.rb file:

chown redmine /usr/share/redmine/config/environment.rb
chown redmine /var/cache/redmine
chgrp redmine /etc/redmine

It works great, except for upgrades, where I need to tweak permissions every
time.

Is this something that could be considered for the package?

Thank you for your quick response.

I am going to close this bug for now, but if someone else has this issue they
should feel free to reopen it or to create a new bug report.
