Hello everyone,

it seems that svn-buildpackage 0.8.0 has a bug, when it comes to
tagging. It doesn't tag the working directory revision, if you've done
any commits after
the last checkout or update.

I couldn't convince the svn-bp-maintainer yet, but IMHO this should
really be fixed.
(See #580545 [1])

From a quick check of the pkg-ruby-extras repository, I think the
following tags were set wrong, because of this issue.

libbarby-ruby : 0.3.2-1
libdataobjects-ruby : 0.10.0-1
libhaml-ruby : 2.2.24-1
libsinatra-ruby : 1.0.really1.0-1
libxml-parser-ruby : 0.7.1-1
ruby-gnome2 : 0.19.3-2

There might be more wrong tags, I've only checked the most recent ones.
If you're using svn-buildpackage 0.8.0 and recently tagged something,
please check your tags.

To work around this problem, you need to do a "svn update" in your
working directory before running --svn-tag.

If you can confirm, that the above tags were set wrong because auf
svn-bp 0.8.0, it might be a good idea to post this warning to
debian-devel as well.

Tobias
