Hi, I'm in the process of back porting Ruby 1.9.3 from Precise to Lucid. My aim is to get Passenger running using Ruby 1.9.3 on Lucid with nginx. However, I've run into trouble porting some of the gems back like ruby-rack. This is because these gems require gem2deb in order to build them.
When I attempt to build gem2deb on Lucid however I get unmet build dependencies, such as ruby-setup. However some of these packages rely on gem2deb! Could anyone point me in the right direction for trying to solve these circular build dependencies?
