Package: chef
Version: 0.8.16-4.2
Severity: wishlist

Debian's chef packages should be updated to chef 0.10 or 0.9 for
Debian Sid. 0.8 is too old to be useful anymore.

The current chef version on http://apt.opscode.com/ is 0.10.4 for 0.10
and 0.9.18 for 0.9.

If there's anything I can do to help you with this request, just let
me know. I'd be happy to help.

Chef's now at 0.10.10-1 in sid, so closing.

 chef | 0.10.10-1 | sid | source, all
