Package: ruby-ffi-rzmq
Version: 1.0.3+metadata-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

When running

        require "ffi-rzmq"

I see the following error:

        LoadError: The libzmq version 4.0.4 is incompatible with ffi-rzmq.

It seems according to the README that the version 1.0.3 works only with
the versions 2.2.x (libzmq1, about to be removed) and 3.2.x.
Currently libzmq3 (satisfying the dependency has version 4.0.4, which is
not supported.

There is a new upstream version 2.0.1 which supports 4.x API.

Please package the new version.

Cheers,

Cédric

 .
   * Team upload.
   * Imported Upstream version 2.0.1
     + support for libzmq3 ( >= 4.0) (Closes: #742190, #743113)
   * Drop alternative dependency with libzmq1 (Closes: #740420)
   * Depend on ruby-ffi-rzmq-core, and drop direct dependencies on ruby-ffi and
     libzmq*, which are dependencies for ruby-ffi-rzmq-core.
   * Drop patches (now applied to ruby-ffi-rzmq-core)
   * Add no_zmq_sodium.patch, deactivating a failing test as long as libzmq3 is
     not built against libsodium.
