Hi,
Using the ruby dh sequence (--with ruby) is not setting
${ruby:Versions}. It only calling dh_ruby_fixdepends.
Only using ruby build-system (--buildsystem=ruby) and dh_ruby is doing
so.
This sound wrong to me.
Cheers

Why?
You need to call dh with both a sequence (--with) and a build system.
That's what dh-make-ruby generates, too.
I'm closing this bug for now, because it's ancient and I don't
understand what you would like to see fixed. But feel free to reopen to
discuss it further.
