Package: gitlab Version: 8.4.3+dfsg-9 Severity: normal Hi,
please have a look at my gitlab instance running 8.4.3+dfsg-9 at: https://gitlab.mister-muffin.de/debian-bootstrap/botch/wikis/home You will see, that the content of the page does not show up. You can clone the wiki's git as git clone http://gitlab.mister-muffin.de/debian-bootstrap/botch.wiki.git and convince yourself that the content actually exists. Once I login and edit the pages I also see the content that should be there in the edit text box and I also can get a preview. Just after saving the changes, the page content will still not show up. I also created a new page there called "test" to see if the same problem happens only with older pages or also with newer ones. As you can see, the page should contain the content "test content" but it does not show up. I did not do any configurations (in /etc or otherwise) after having installed 8.4.3+dfsg-9 from scratch (after purging the old version and rm -rf /var/lib/gitlab and /usr/share/gitlab). The only things I retained from my old version were: - the database - /var/lib/gitlab/repositories - /var/lib/gitlab/uploads - /var/lib/gitlab/.ssh Any hints of why the wiki doesn't work? If you can reproduce this problem with a fresh installation, then maybe together with issues not working properly (see bug #814871) this version should not migrate to testing yet? I feel that issue pages and the wiki are essential parts of a gitlab installation and should be working in testing. Thanks! cheers, josch _______________________________________________ Pkg-ruby-extras-maintainers mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-ruby-extras-maintainers
