The failure is at: ruby-activesupport : Depends: ruby-json (< 2.0) but 2.0.1+dfsg-1 is to be installed ruby-validate-url only declares ruby-activemodel as build dependency. sbuild log was not very clear, cowbuilder log was more helpful.
