Hi,

Whilst working on the Reproducible Builds effort [0], we noticed
that reel will FTBFS after March 2017 due to pregenerated certificates
that are then used during the tests:

  $ openssl x509 -enddate -noout -in tmp/certs/server.crt notAfter=Mar 14
12:36:36 2017 GMT

Marking as RC severity as ths is during the stretch or (hopefully not)
sooner.

I would either:

a) Generate the certificates on build. This is the preferable option
   as it also implicitly shows what commands were used to generate
   the certifacates and these options can be modified.

b) Regenerate the certificates so that they expire in, say, 100 years.
