I ran into this problem and the patch in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=746358#20 fixed it.
Commenting out my NFS mounts worked also, but I couldn't figure out how to get to an editor short of using a rescue CD. (i.e. even in a "recovery mode" boot, I'd get stuck at "Raise network interfaces.") I have br0 in /etc/network/interfaces, I have NetworkManager running for whatever reason, I have by-default NFS mounts in /etc/fstab, and the systemd package is version 204-10.
