I don't change adapters/adapter locations often enough to have a need for the new network name schemes and have long ago put in place a custom '/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules', template generated by '/lib/udev/rules.d/75-persistent-net-generator.rules'. The wired adapter is 'eth0', and wireless is 'wlan0'. This new change seems to be treading on territory already covered (I have a couple of Fedora machines and so saw this change soon after installation).
