I had some luck with grml. I have attached the first 512 bytes of the drive you requested.Also, when using grml, i was able to start fdisk on the harddrive in question. I tried writing a knew partition table, but that does not succed. The newly created, empty partition table still contains 255 partitions.
So i would guess the drive itself is broken.
