I've now done processing all the patches, dropping the ones that are
part of the new upstream tarball. These are the ones left:

% ls debian/patches/
00list 46_pidof_symlinkman.dpatch
94_fstab-decode.dpatch
10_doc_manuals.dpatch 54_bootlogd_findptyfail.dpatch
96_shutdown_acctoff.dpatch
12_doc_lastb.dpatch 62_init_freebsdterm.dpatch
97_init_starttest.dpatch
14_doc_fsf_addr.dpatch 68_init_quiet.dpatch fix-minor-warnings
21_ifdown_kfreebsd.dpatch 91_sulogin_lockedpw.dpatch
%

The patches 12_doc_lastb.dpatch and 68_init_quiet.dpatch are not used
in Debian. I have not had time to have a closer look at the remaining
patches to figure out which of these should go upstream.

I compared the patched source before and after the move to the new
upstream, and am confident that the migration was successful. As
there is no real change to the package from a user point of view, I
will not do a new upload right away, but wait until some real change
is commited. :)

Happy hacking,
