Anyone against implementing (3)? Anyone know why it was flagged as an obsolete feature in the first place? I do not have any strong opinion either way. Any proposal on what we should write in the manual page? > but one has to also say when it will run on a dependency-based > system. Can we make it run last? I expect it will continue to be a code fragment in init.d/rc, called after all the other boot scripts are called, so yeah. Do not expect any changes there. If no-one objects, I can undo the commit and upload a new package to unstable, but would like help with the manual page text.
