Hi all, I have a question about LSB init headers. Could you please reply while Cc:ing me (I am not subscribed to this mailing list)? Thanks in advance.
The LSB init headers for /etc/init.d/chrony in package chrony/1.24-3 are: ### BEGIN INIT INFO # Provides: chrony # Required-Start: $remote_fs # Required-Stop: $remote_fs # Should-Start: $syslog $network $named $hwclock # Should-Stop: $syslog $network $named $hwclock # Default-Start: 2 3 4 5 # Default-Stop: 0 1 6 # Short-Description: Controls chronyd NTP time daemon # Description: Chronyd is the NTP time daemon in the Chrony package ### END INIT INFO What looks strange to me is $hwclock ... If I understand /etc/insserv.conf correctly, it should be hwclock (with no dollar sign) or $time, but not $hwclock ... Please correct me if I am wrong, or otherwise please confirm that I am right. -- http://www.inventati.org/frx/progs/scripts/pdebuild-hooks.html Need some pdebuild hook scripts? .....................................................
