I just have been pointed out to this wishlist bug report and have to
say I would also like to se this feature of having boot logging enabled
by default in newer/upcoming releases.
Also, it should be nice to have all the boot log entries in the same
file ("/var/log/boot") and not split in different files as happens
right now (some records fall under "/var/log/dmesg" and bootlod ones are
available in "/var/log/boot") which is a bit of a mess.
