[Pkg-sysvinit-devel] Bug#698751: bootlogd does not work

I concur that bootlogd is not functional, on a fresh install of Debian 7. My 
/var/log/boot simply says "(Nothing has been logged yet.)". Bootlogd version 
tested is 2.88dsf-41.
