Package: bootlogd Version: 2.88dsf-43 Followup-For: Bug #689992 Same here. I have the repos pointing to testing, so nowadays I'm in Debian Jessie. I want to read the boot messages but, according to the wiki, there is no config file anymore. It seems that bootlogd runs as a service now. OK
I restart the computer but /var/log/boot is empty, so it's clear that bootlogd is not logging anything. Note that before the upgrade, I could read the messages in /var/log/boot -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.10-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=es_ES.utf8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages bootlogd depends on: ii libc6 2.17-92+b1 ii lsb-base 4.1+Debian12 bootlogd recommends no packages. bootlogd suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/init.d/stop-bootlogd [Errno 2] No existe el fichero o el directorio: u'/etc/init.d/stop-bootlogd' /etc/init.d/stop-bootlogd-single [Errno 2] No existe el fichero o el directorio: u'/etc/init.d/stop-bootlogd-single' -- no debconf information _______________________________________________ Pkg-sysvinit-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-sysvinit-devel
