Hi, I noticed that the Flatpak version in Debian's stretch-backports repo is still 1.0.3. Is there a chance it can be updated to 1.0.4 soon, or alternatively have this patch[1] backported to it? The reason I ask is that in the near future the Flathub administrators are planning to add a metadata key on the server side which will allow clients to use the offline USB updates functionality[2], but it also causes clients to hit a transient error during the first transaction that sees the metadata key (subsequent transactions are successful). Only version 1.0.3 of Flatpak is affected, because 1.0.2 does not pay attention to the metadata key[3] and 1.0.4 has the bug fixed.
We're hoping to implement this change on November 15th. Do you think Flatpak will be updated in Debian by then?
