Good afternoon,

we're looking for a way to make one of our software projects Python3-ready,
but it's been using "python-avahi" which, in Debian Buster, has no
"python3-avahi" counterpart - and Bullseye will come without Python2,
so there's no smooth transition...

Is there a way (official or not) to (more or less) duplicate the existing
contents of python-avahi 0.7-4+b1 to make the functionality available for
Python3? (Any syntax pitfalls to watch out for?)
Or should we attempt to create, or wait for others to create, a backport of
all of avahi 0.8-5 (including the risk of intended breakage)?

Thanks,
 Steffen
