 After I suspending my laptop and waking it up again, the routing table is
 no longer a valid one:

 # route -n

 whereas the routing table before suspending is:

 nm-applet shows that the eth1 is connected to the Wi-Fi.

 The error cannot be reproduced all the time. Since it is a quite old and 
 slow laptop, there might be some race condition.

 I see no error messages in /var/log/daemon.log.
