Package: network-manager-gnome
Version: 1.30.0-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
Tried to set up a new forti vpn connection

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
ran nm-connection-editor on terminal

Create connection type: Fortinet SSL VPN (OpenConnect). Terminal output: "*
Message: 10:54:21.692: Cannot save connection due to error: Invalid setting
VPN: gateway"

Entered Connection Name and Gateway (fortivpn.my-institution.xy) - left rest
unconfigured (Protocol was already set to Fortinet SSL VPN). As soon as I
started typing, the output in the terminal was "** Message: 10:55:37.655:
Connection validates and can be saved"

clicked "save" - screen disappeared. Terminal:
"(nm-connection-editor:8589): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: 10:55:53.525: settings object
created with schema 'org.gnome.nm-applet.eap' and path '/org/gnome/nm-
applet/eap/5505a8c9-2c99-4f0e-92cb-dff6afa91ff5/', but path '/org/gnome/nm-
applet/eap/' is specified by schema
Trace/breakpoint trap"

   * What was the outcome of this action?
new VPN connection does not show up in the list of available vpn connections

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
it should show up

Fixed by the latest libnma upload. Thus closing.
