My machine is joined to a FreeIPA realm, but Cockpit isn't aware of
this. After I installed realmd, Cockpit correctly shows information
about the realm. I think cockpit should Recommend realmd so that it's
installed by default.

We don't want to pull in new dependencies which are optional, especially not
those which install services/daemons.
Cockpit has supported on-demand installation of realmd for a long time (since
version 173). Version 289 improved the overview page to say "Install realmd
support" instead of "Join domain" if realmd is not installed. I consider this
a good compromise, and it's about as far as we want to go with this, so I close
this bug now.
Thanks,
Martin
