While the issue can be fixed by a full upstream version merged in
unstable, initial issue still stands.
Since we don't have packages version upgrades in Debian 12 (bookworm),
the patch would need to be merged on network-manager/1.42.4-x series,
similar to the 1.42.4-1 series:
https://sources.debian.org/patches/network-manager/1.42.4-1/
Like previously said,
https://salsa.debian.org/utopia-team/network-manager/-/commit/c9f16dacd04cc14ace610ac64f9b14ac76dac130.patch applies cleanly on top of 1.42.4-1, no functionally changes or regression
observed.
So one would expect something like 1.42.4-2, can you please clarify?
