Dear Maintainer,
After an upgrade to upower from 0.9.23-2+b2 to 0.99.0-3 version I'm no longer
able to suspend/hibernate the system from the xfce. When I choose the end
session option from the xfce menu I can now only see Logout, Reboot and
Shutdown buttons. Suspend and Hibernation are not shown. Rebooting the system
doesn't work. Reverting the upower to 0.9.23-2+b2 fixes the problem, so for now
I'm sticking with this version. I don't have other desktop environments
installed so I don't know if it also affects Gnome, KDE or LXDE.

Hi,
on an up to date sid system with sysvinit (and no systemd), recent upower
still doesn't allow KDE to suspend or hibernate.
Downgrading upower to 0.9.23 makes it work again.
This information is not sufficient to further investigate this and
outdated by now.
Thus closing again.
