Package: hald
Version: 0.23.4-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Loading of dbus-1 interface causes system to hang (stop responding to
inputs). On investigation, it was found that hald present in conf.d of
dbus-1 was causing this issue. Now system is running without hald. If
hald is not removed from conf.d, no access to the system is possible
except using the single user mode. Need help to fix this issue, and need
info on impact of not using this hald. Is there any application that
requires this deamon, and what should be done to get it back to working
condition.
Cant produce any backup logs as no log seem to be giving any detail
regarding the loading of hald or its failure.
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Somu

These look like hardware problems that we can't reproduce. In the
absence of further information I'm closing the bug.
