Package: network-manager-gnome Version: 0.7.1-1 Severity: important --- Please enter the report below this line. ---
Network-manager-gnome shows that there is no connection available or in use after dist-upgrade from Lenny to Testing (Squeeze). When you try to reconfigure the connection through the NetworkManager, it (the icon of NetworkManager) just disappers from the panel. However, there is a connection and it's working just fine. I'm not quite sure, maybe ifupdown is in use (which was in use during the installation process). --- System information. --- Architecture: amd64 Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-amd64 Debian Release: squeeze/sid 500 testing ftp.bg.debian.org 500 stable volatile.debian.org 500 stable security.debian.org 500 stable ftp.bg.debian.org 500 stable debian.ipacct.com 500 proposed-updates ftp.bg.debian.org --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed ====================================-+-============== libc6 (>= 2.3) | 2.9-4 libdbus-1-3 (>= 1.0.2) | 1.2.12-1 libdbus-glib-1-2 (>= 0.78) | 0.80-4 libgconf2-4 (>= 2.23.2) | 2.26.0-1 libglade2-0 (>= 1:2.6.1) | 1:2.6.4-1 libglib2.0-0 (>= 2.16.0) | 2.20.0-2 libgnome-keyring0 (>= 2.20.3) | 2.26.0-4 libgtk2.0-0 (>= 2.16.0) | 2.16.1-2 libnm-glib-vpn0 (>= 0.7.0) | 0.7.1-1 libnm-glib0 (>= 0.7.0) | 0.7.1-1 libnm-util1 (>= 0.7.0.97) | 0.7.1-1 libnotify1 (>= 0.4.5) | 0.4.5-1 libnotify1-gtk2.10 | libpango1.0-0 (>= 1.14.0) | 1.24.0-3+b1 libpolkit-gnome0 (>= 0.7) | 0.9.2-2 libpolkit2 (>= 0.7) | 0.9-3 network-manager (>= 0.7) | 0.7.1-1 policykit-gnome | 0.9.2-2 Recommends (Version) | Installed ==================================-+-=========== notification-daemon | 0.4.0-1 libpam-keyring | Suggests (Version) | Installed ============================================-+-=========== network-manager-openvpn-gnome | network-manager-vpnc-gnome | network-manager-pptp-gnome |
