Hi,
Currently it uses UUID of the partition to create mount point for
encrypted partition, which is not very friendly (cannot remember such
long name). luks does not offer a label option for partitions so the
logical place to put an easier name is in /etc/crypttab but nautilus
does not look at this file at all. It would be very useful to have a
custom name than the UUID.
/etc/crypttab contains this entry
personal /dev/disk/by-uuid/3864724d-9998-41a0-bb73-61cfe8c999a1 none luks,noauto
and /etc/fstab has this entry
/dev/mapper/personal /media/personal ext4
defaults,users,noauto 0 0
but it gets mapped and mounted ignoring these two files
/dev/mapper/udisks-luks-uuid-3864724d-9998-41a0-bb73-61cfe8c999a1-uid500
on /media/4fb7fc6b-5f9a-48b8-b513-1e6e779c1893 type ext4
(rw,nosuid,nodev,relatime,user_xattr,barrier=1,data=ordered,uhelper=udisks)
So nautilus should look at these two files before choosing a random value.
