Dear maintainers,
at my laptop all works fine (AMD-Turion-X2 with wheezy-amd64) - also with the network-manager: I can connect with my embedded ethernet card and I can connect with my WIFI-card to my internet access point.
All works fine except one thing:
If I plug a cable to the ethernet port, the wireless connection will be closed and it seems there would be no wireless card at all - until I unplug the cable, then the wireless connection will be established few seconds later
Is there anything I can configure or do, to work around this behavior? It is boring since I must work on a local network but I need to use the internet connection for several reasons in the same time. Or is it a bug? Do you need more information? In my laptop is a WIFI-card from Broadcom with the driver-package from their homepage. I need to compile it to current kernel and I need to blacklist the modules b43, b43legacy, ssb and bcma for work.
At another PC I have a wheezy-guest in a virtualbox running at a win7-host. At Windows the same situation - 2 network connections - one wireless to the internet box and one cable to a local net. Vbox configured with mode bridged-network and I have two working network-connections - seems to network-manager like 2 cable-connections.
Greetings, Andreas
