Package: hal
Version: 0.5.8.1-9etch1
Severity: normal

After kernel upgrade to 2.6.24 hal doesn't detect that SD card was inserted.
SD card reader uses sdhci kernel module.

While running 2.6.18 I can see in kern.log:

Aug 11 21:50:16 fairy kernel: mmc0: SDHCI at 0xefbff700 irq 185 DMA
Aug 11 21:50:24 fairy kernel: mmcblk0: mmc0:9945 SK512 483840KiB (ro)
Aug 11 21:50:24 fairy kernel: mmcblk0: p1

And lshal -m gives:

pci_1180_822_mmc_host_mmc_card_rca39237 added
pci_1180_822_mmc_host_mmc_card_rca39237_storage added
volume_uuid_092C_53E0 added
volume_uuid_092C_53E0 property volume.mount_point = '/media/CANON_DC'
volume_uuid_092C_53E0 property volume.is_mounted_read_only = true
volume_uuid_092C_53E0 property volume.is_mounted = true
[cut]
volume_uuid_092C_53E0 removed
pci_1180_822_mmc_host_mmc_card_rca39237 removed
pci_1180_822_mmc_host_mmc_card_rca39237_storage removed

After rebooting to 2.6.24, kern.log shows:

Aug 11 22:18:05 fairy kernel: mmc0: new high speed SD card at address 9945
Aug 11 22:18:05 fairy kernel: mmcblk0: mmc0:9945 SK512 483840KiB (ro)
Aug 11 22:18:05 fairy kernel: mmcblk0: p1

But lshal -m gives nothing.
