Dear Maintainer,
After doing a dist-upgrade on a desktop workstation from a 10 month out
of date version of jessie/testing to current jessie/testing, the system
fails to load properly on reboot. The Gnome "Oh no!" error is shown and
dmesg shows the following:

00007fffd18674c0 error 4 in libupower-glib.so.3.0.1[7f5f03fb1000+22000]
I have tried using the libupower-glib3 package in testing (0.99.1-3.1)
and experimental (0.99.2-1) and neither version changes the problem.

You have a local installation of libimobiledevice, which still links
against libplist.so.1
You need need to clean that up, then the problem will go away without
requiring libplist1 being installed.
Closing as not a bug, but a local misconfiguration.
