In src/nm-vpnc-service-vpnc-helper.c, MTU is hard coded to 1412, which
is a fair big value. When connected to an VPN that needs a lower MTU
size it makes the network connection unusable.

it reads the "INTERNAL_IP4_MTU" environment variable if set by vpnc.
